이루마 Yiruma

We recently discovered Yiruma, a popular pianist and composer from South Korea. Wikipedia says this about him...

The name "Yiruma" translates into accomplishment in Korean. Yiruma's piano music is expressive and introspective. Although he is only 33 years old, Yiruma is internationally known for creating colorful music that uplifts spirits. He began playing the piano at the age of five, and moved to London when he was 11, in 1988, to study at The Purcell School of Music. He possessed dual citizenship of South Korea and England until 2006. In 2006, he gave up his UK citizenship to serve in the Navy of South Korea.

Here is a clip of him performing "Kiss The Rain."

You can hear more of his music and learn more about him on his website:

Toes in the Sand

We were happy to visit the MN Zoo Beach Party again this year as they brought the tropics to us with a giant indoor sandbox! The twins were not excited about sand between their toes, but eventually all three were busy with their buckets and shovels. We might need a bigger sandbox this summer :-)

Valentine's Day Cupcakes

As if the balloons weren't enough, we loaded them up with giant frosted Valentine cupcakes. The last photo of Caden makes us laugh... we never learned "official" baby sign language, but Caden is signing our family version of "more."

Happy Valentine's Day!

Daddy brought them a dozen red balloon hearts! It doesn't matter if you're 2 or 4, or another nameless age ;-) Balloons are great fun!

The Bouncer

All I can say is thank you, Little Tikes, for making this thing. What a great idea for three energetic little ones on these cold winter nights :-) They love it!

Valentine's Painting

Quin gets serious about his art.  We’ve moved from little sponge squares to sponges on a stick! He is completely adorable to watch; such focus and determination!
